Director of Processes & Innovation (m/f/d)

Our client is an internationally active, family-owned textile manufacturer with a long-standing heritage and an outstanding reputation for high-quality textile solutions. As a vertically integrated producer, the company controls the entire value chain – from fibre to finished fabric – serving customers in public procurement, protective workwear and technical textiles. Against the backdrop of dynamic growth and increasing operational complexity, the strategic leadership position of Director of Processes & Innovation is now being filled.

Your responsibilities

  • Shape and implement the company’s innovation and process strategy in alignment with long-term growth and sustainability objectives
  • Take ownership of management systems—especially ISO 9001—and certifications and guarantee international audit readiness; coordinate product certifications such as OEKO-TEX®, GOTS, GRS, OCS and BCI
  • Further develop production standards, methodologies and process documentation across the full value chain (spinning, weaving, dyeing and finishing)
  • Maintain and develop product definitions, specifications and the
central product catalogue as basis for production, sales and quality
  • Lead the laboratory organisation, ensuring technical standards,
investment planning, efficiency and continuous testing improvement
  • Act as a central interface to IT and digitalisation initiatives, defining requirements and supporting system evolution
  • Contribute to R&D and Innovation projects

Your Profile

  • Completed degree in Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Science or a comparable technical discipline
  • Several years of leadership experience within the textile industry, ideally in a vertically integrated production environment
  • Strong process optimisation and management systems expertise; spinning or yarn experience is a plus
  • Solid experience with certifications and audits in regulated industries
  • A hands-on, structured personality with credibility on the shop floor, who leads cross-functionally and drives change with natural authority
  • Business-fluent French or Dutch/Flemish and fluent English

We Offer

  • A strategic key role reporting directly to the Management Board
  • Significant scope for shaping the future of the business
  • An attractive remuneration package including additional benefits and a structured handover phase
